US approves $151.8 million ammunition deal for Israeli occupation

WASHINGTON, March 07 (YPA) – The US State Department has approved a $151.8 million sale of ammunition to Israel amid escalating tensions with Iran.

The deal, requested by the State Department’s Bureau of Political and Military Affairs, includes 12,000 bombs weighing 470 kilograms each.

“The proposed sale will enhance Israel’s ability to confront current and future threats, strengthen its defense, and act as a deterrent to regional threats,” the bureau said in a statement.

The package also covers engineering, logistics, and technical support provided by the US government.
