IRGC announces strikes on Haifa refinery, US bases in “27th Wave”

TEHRAN, March 08 (YPA) – The Public Relations office of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the execution of the 27th wave of “Operation True Promise 4,” targeting the Haifa oil refinery alongside Israeli and American military sites.

According to the statement, the operation was a direct response to the recent strike on the Tehran refinery.

The IRGC stated that the joint assault utilized “Kheibar Shekan” missiles and drones.

The targeting achieved direct hits on the Haifa oil refinery, Ben Gurion Airport, Ramat David Airbase, and military industrial complexes in Beit Shemesh and Ashdod.

The operation also included strikes on military quarters in the “Marina” area, the 5th Fleet’s drone command unit, and logistics warehouses in “Bandar Salman.”

The bases of “Al-Udeid”, “Al-Dhafra”, “Al-Jufra”, and “Sheikh Issa” were subjected to repeated missile and drone strikes.

IRGC spokesperson, Brigadier General Ali Mohammad Naeini, confirmed the destruction of bases used to launch strikes against Iran. He further stated that 17 naval vessels belonging to the US, “Israel,” and their allies have been targeted to date.

The statement also noted that occupied territories remain under continuous alert as a result of the ongoing offensive.
