IRGC destroys US radars in UAE, Jordan and Qatar

TEHRAN, March 06 (YPA) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the destruction of USTHAAD radar systems stationed in the United Arab Emirates and Jordan, as well as the US strategic early-warning radar FPS-132 located in Qatar.

In a statement issued on Friday, the IRGC said the operations were carried out as part of efforts to target what it described as US and Israeli military facilities in the region, adding that the strikes were successful and had completely disabled the radar systems.

The statement said the move was intended to deter aggression and protect Iran’s national security, stressing that the Iranian armed forces will continue to monitor and respond to any threats in the region with firmness and precision.
