Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi reaffirms support for Iran, warns against involvement in pro-Zionist alliances
SANAA, March 05 (YPA) – Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, the Leader of Ansarallah, reaffirmed Yemen’s stance alongside the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Muslim Iranian people.
In his 16th Ramadan lecture Thursday evening, Sayyed al-Houthi addressed military escalations, stating, “Our fingers are on the trigger at any moment the developments necessitate it.” He emphasized that the current confrontation is “a battle for the entire Ummah (nation).”
Criticism of Regional Security Dynamics
The Ansarrallah leader pointed out that the “Zionist enemy” and its affiliates seek to impose a “formula of violation” against the Ummah, aiming for an open war against the free people of the nation without constraints or obligations. He noted that the enemy is waiting to finalize its “bank of targets,” secure funding from certain Arab regimes, and replenish weapon stockpiles before choosing its timing.
Sayyed al-Houthi highlighted that several regimes and governments are preoccupied with exerting maximum effort to protect US bases. He noted that some of these regimes are protecting bases that contributed directly to the aggression against Iran, while simultaneously describing Iranian retaliatory operations against those bases as “attacks on their own countries.”
Warning to Pro-Zionist Regimes
Criticizing regimes loyal to Zionism, he stated they are dedicated to protecting US and Israeli bases. He stated that the US and “Israel” continue to seek the involvement of Arab governments as “enlisted soldiers” in direct aggression against Iran. He noted a persistent effort to reduce some Arab regimes to the level of “junior soldiers serving Netanyahu, Ben-Gvir, and Zionist Jewish criminals.”
“Any Arab regime involved in this great betrayal of Islam and Muslims is a loser and a failure,” he added, describing it as a “disgrace and a major scandal” for those who transitioned from senior leaders in the Arab and Islamic world to junior soldiers for the Zionists.
The Role of US Bases
Sayyed al-Houthi characterized this as a “new and very unfortunate phase” for the Islamic Ummah, warning of disastrous consequences. He argued that US bases in Arab countries exist solely to protect the Israeli enemy and attack the people of the Ummah.
“These bases do not protect the host countries or their ruling regimes,” he said, noting that some rulers who once felt secure with these bases are now being asked to protect the Americans instead of their own nations.
He suggested it is in the interest of these countries to remove such bases, as they will only involve them in serving Zionism. He further affirmed that the Zionist enemy has targeted the interests of some Arab states specifically to implicate them in a direct confrontation with Iran.
Internal Strength and Public Mobilization
Regarding the Islamic Republic of Iran, Sayyed al-Houthi stated that its official and popular position is “very strong,” noting the “effective role” of the Revolutionary Guard and the Iranian Army. He considered that enemies are in a state of “defeat and confusion,” adding that “Americans have fled from military bases to hotels, and some are leaving the region entirely in a state of panic.”
Call to Action
Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi concluded by calling on the Yemeni people to participate in “million-man marches” this Friday. The demonstrations aim to reaffirm Yemen’s steadfast support for the Palestinian people and the free people of Lebanon and elsewhere, and to signal readiness for any future developments.
