STC elements kidnap 4 young men in Aden

ADEN, March. 03 (YPA) – Four young men were kidnapped in the city of Aden, controlled by Saudi-backed forces, in southern Yemen, after they were spotted chanting slogans against the dissolved Southern Transitional Council.

Local sources reported that armed elements loyal to the Transitional Council kidnapped the young men in al-Qalou’a area after they appeared in a video chanting slogans against the dissolved council then they were taken to a police station for questioning.

The young men chanted slogans in support of the head of the Leadership Council, Rashad al-Alimi, and Yemeni unity, the sources added.

The incident sparked controversy and resentment among the residents of al-Qalou’a area, who demanded the immediate release of the young men, considering their actions to be within the bounds of freedom of expression.
