Gaza Health Ministry: Death toll rises to 72,097 since start of Israeli aggression

GAZA, March 02 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza Strip announced on Monday that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,097 martyrs, in addition to 171,796 injured.

According to the ministry’s daily statistical report, hospitals received one martyr and five wounded over the past 24 hours.

The ministry further clarified that since the ceasefire on October 11, the death toll has reached 630 martyrs with 1,698 wounded, in addition to the recovery of 735 bodies from under the rubble.

The report emphasized that a significant number of victims remain trapped under debris or on the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams are still unable to reach them.
