Israeli attack targets Saudi Arabia’s Aramco oil facilities

TEHRAN, March 02 (YPA) – Iran has revealed an Israeli attack targeting Saudi Arabia’s Aramco oil facilities.

According to an Iranian military source, the strike that occurred early Monday targeted facilities belonging to Saudi Aramco and was allegedly carried out by Israeli enemy. The source described the incident as a “disinformation” operation.

In remarks to the Iranian news agency Tasnim News Agency, the source said the objective of the Israeli government was to divert regional attention away from what Iran describes as its attacks on civilian sites inside the country.

The source added that Iran has openly declared it would target American and Israeli interests and facilities in the region without hesitation, and adding that several such targets have already been attacked. However, he stressed that Aramco facilities have not been among Iran’s targets to date.
