Ceasefire violations continue in Gaza

GAZA, March 02 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army continues its violations of the ceasefire agreement on its 144th day across various areas of the Gaza Strip.

At dawn today, Israeli artillery shelled areas north of the town of Beit Lahia, in the northern Gaza Strip.

Israeli military vehicles opened fire east of the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City.

Israeli artillery shelling was renewed east of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Israeli tanks also opened fire east of Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip.

Since the ceasefire on October 11, the total number of martyrs has reached 629, in addition to 1,693 injured, while the total number of recovered bodies stands at 735 martyrs.

Since the beginning of the aggression on October 7, 2023, the death toll has reached 72,096 martyrs and 171,791 injured.
