HEBRON, March 01 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Sunday the death of 25-year-old Mohammed Jihad Masalmeh, who succumbed to critical wounds sustained from live fire by Israeli forces during a raid on Dura town, south of Hebron, last night.
According to the Palestinian sources Masalmeh had been shot in the abdomen during the Israeli incursion on Saturday evening and was taken to a hospital in critical condition before succumbing to his injuries Sunday morning.
Another Palestinian, 19-year-old Tamer Ismail Qaisiya, from the town of al-Dhahiriya south of Hebron, also died on Saturday night. He had been shot by Israeli forces three days earlier near the separation barrier in the town of Yatta.
Medical sources said Qaisiya was in serious condition after he was shot. He later died from his wounds.
Israeli occupation forces continue to carry out raids, arrests, and live fire operations across different areas of the West Bank.
