One killed, over 20 injured in Iranian missile strikes on Tel Aviv

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, March 01 (YPA) -At least one Israeli woman was killed and more than 20 people were injured after Iranian missiles struck Tel Aviv, Hebrew media reported. The attacks caused damage to several buildings in the city overnight.

According to the reports, one woman died and at least 20 others were wounded when missiles hit Tel Aviv. Israel’s Channel 12 said seven Israelis were injured when five missiles fell in central and northern “Israel”. One of the injured is in serious condition.

Channel “Hebrew Live,” quoting the Tel Aviv municipality, said at least 40 buildings were damaged by the Iranian missiles. Explosions were heard across central “Israel” during the strikes. Some media outlets described the latest missile barrage as the largest so far.

Other reports said military censorship is preventing the publication of details about a missile that struck a building in Tel Aviv.

Israeli emergency services said missiles fell in two locations in the Gush Dan area in central “Israel”.

On Sunday morning, The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran launched a large wave of missiles toward “Israel”. Air raid sirens sounded in several areas inside “Israel ” and in parts of the West Bank.

The missile attacks came a day after Iranian officials announced the martyrdom of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei during a joint US-Israeli attack. The Iranian military has vowed to retaliate for his killing.
