Four Palestinians killed, others wounded in Gaza in 24 hours

GAZA, Feb. 25 (YPA) – At least four Palestinians were killed and others wounded in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, as a result of Israeli violations of the ceasefire, now in its 139th day.

Earlier today, a Palestinian was wounded by gunfire from an Israeli quadcopter drone near the Abu Hussein School in northern Gaza.

Israeli occupation forces shot and wounded two Palestinian youths in Beit Lahia, also in northern Gaza, while renewed Israeli artillery shelling of eastern Gaza City.

Earlier last night, a Palestinian resident of Gaza City was killed after being shot in the chest by a quadcopter drone on Al-Shuhada Street.

Two Palestinians were killed in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, amidst airstrikes on Rafah.

Early this morning, a Palestinian was killed and two others wounded when Israeli warplanes targeted a group of civilians south of Khan Younis.

The Israeli army also demolished residential buildings east of Khan Younis. Since the ceasefire on October 11, the total number of martyrs has reached 615, in addition to 1,658 wounded, while the total number of bodies recovered has reached 726.

Since the beginning of the aggression on October 7, 2023, the number of martyrs has reached 72,073 and the number of wounded has reached 171,749.
