Gaza: 1 killed, 8 wounded in the past 24 hours

GAZA, Feb. 23 (YPA) -The Palestinian Ministry of Health said on Monday that one person was killed and eight others were injured in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours.

In its dailyreport on casualties from the Israeli aggression, the ministry said a number of victims remain trapped under rubble or lying in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.

The ministry reported that since the ceasefire on October 11, approximately 615 people have been killed and 1,651 injured. It added that 726 bodies have been recovered during the same period.

According to the ministry, the overall death toll since the start of the war on October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,073, with the same number reported injured.
