Tehran: Thursday talks a “true test” for Trump, deciding fate of U.S. troops

TEHRAN, Feb. 23 (YPA) – Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, characterized the upcoming talks between Tehran and Washington this Thursday as a “true test” for President Trump’s administration.

In a sharp statement on “X,” Rezaei linked the outcome of this round directly to the fate of U.S. forces in the region. He stated that the negotiations would ultimately decide “whether American soldiers return home or face a fatal end.”

These escalatory remarks come as delegations prepare to resume discussions regarding Iran’s nuclear program—a round widely viewed as one of the final opportunities to avert a full-scale military conflict in the region.
