Meteorology forecast gradual rise in temperatures

SANAA, Feb. 23 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology forecast a gradual rise in temperatures over the coming hours, according to its weather bulletin issued Monday.

The center said minimum temperatures are expected to remain cold across the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, and northern Ibb.

It added that relatively cold conditions are also likely in the highlands of Dhalea, Lahj, and Abyan, as well as parts of the plateaus and deserts of Jawf, Marib, Shabwa, and Hadramout.

The center urged citizens, particularly the elderly, children, and those with health conditions in mountainous areas, to take precautions against the cold, and advised farmers to implement protective measures to safeguard their crops.
