Sayyed al-Houthi congratulates Yemeni people, Islamic nation on the arrival of Ramadan.

SANAA, Feb. 17 (YPA) – Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi send on Tuesday a cable of congratulations to the Muslim people of Yemen, the Mujahideen on the front lines, and the entire Islamic nation on the occasion of the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a statement, the leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement emphasized that Ramadan is a profound gift from the mercy of Allah the Exalted, a month in which the doors of divine grace, mercy, goodness, and blessings are opened.

He described it as a month distinguished above all of the rest of the months for its unique virtues and immense spiritual opportunities., adding that Ramadan is the month in which the Holy Qur’an was revealed and a special season in which rewards and good deeds are multiplied. It is an opportunity to strengthen faith and draw closer to Allah Almighty.

Sayyed al-Houthi stressed the importance of consciously benefiting from its spiritual and educational gifts—refining the soul, purifying the heart, and seeking guidance through the light and insight of the Qur’an.

The Ansarullah’s leader further explained that the gains of this holy month should be invested in building willpower, patience, and spiritual strength, enabling the nation to fulfill its great and sacred responsibilities.

He called on Muslims to seize the opportunity of the blessed month and avoid wasting its precious time, stressing that the challenges and threats facing the Islamic nation—particularly the aggression of what he described as forces of evil and tyranny led by America and Israel—require a sincere return to Allah and adherence to the causes of divine support and victory.

Al-Houthi added that Ramadan is one of the most important seasons for achieving meaningful transformation in the condition of the nation if its opportunities are properly embraced, urging greater care for the poor and the disadvantaged, strengthening bonds of brotherhood, social solidarity, kinship ties, and cooperation in righteousness and piety.

Finally, he warned against following the footsteps of Satan, keeping bad company, and indulging in distractions and idle entertainment. He cautioned against wasting the nights of Ramadan on television series and games, and instead emphasized reciting the Holy Qur’an frequently, increasing remembrance of Allah, and committing to piety so that good deeds may be accepted.
