GAZA, Feb. 13 (YPA) -Israeli occupation forces carried out on Friday demolition and destruction on residential buildings east the so-called yellow line in in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip.
Palestinian sources said the occupation forces demolished the remaining houses east of the “yellow line” in Khan Yunis. Loud explosions were heard after the blasts.
Israeli military vehicles fired heavily in eastern Khan Yunis. Some bullets hit tents of displaced people in the city center, but no injuries were reported.
Israeli artillery near the separation barrier shelled Bani Suheila, Sheikh Nasser, and nearby areas. Drones patrolled the city. Israeli forces also fired in eastern Gaza’s Zeitoun neighbourhood and eastern Jabalia.
Since the truce began on October 11, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said that 591 Palestinians have been killed and 1,578 wounded. So far, 720 bodies have been recovered from streets and destroyed homes.
