Al-Houthi: “Expulsion of U.S. marines from Sanaa is a historic victory that shattered American hegemony”

SANAA, Feb. 11 (YPA) – Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi extended in an official statement on Wednesday his congratulations to the Yemeni people on the anniversary of the February 11, 2015 victory.

This date marks the departure of the U.S. marines from the capital, Sanaa, signaling the end of direct American control over the country’s political and administrative decision-making centers.

Sayyed Al-Houthi also congratulated the Islamic Republic of Iran on the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, which liberated the nation from the hegemony of the American Taghut (tyranny).

In the statement, Al-Houthi emphasized that the United States previously managed its policies from within Sanaa, where the U.S. ambassador acted as the primary decision-maker by exerting direct influence over high-ranking officials.

He described the exit of the marines as a “Great Victory from Allah,” stressing that it was not the result of negotiations or concessions. Instead, he attributed it to the “Popular Renaissance” rooted in faith-based identity and the September 21 Revolution, which led to Washington’s despair in subduing Yemen from within.

Sayyed Al-Houthi noted that the historic victories in Yemen and Iran serve as vital lessons for the Muslim Ummah, reinforcing trust in Allah’s promise against schemes such as “Changing the Middle East” and “Greater Israel.”

He pointed out that the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has exposed the brutality and criminality of American and Israeli tyranny, revealing Quranic truths regarding the evil of the Zionists and those loyal to them.

Al-Houthi concluded by warning that enemies and their collaborators exploit states of negligence and failure in sacred responsibilities to execute their conspiracies against the Islamic nation.
