Russian air forces shoot down 69 Ukrainian drones over regions overnight

MOSCOW, Feb. 09 (YPA) – Russia’s air defense forces shot down 69 Ukrainian drones over the regions overnight, the country’s Defense Ministry said in a statement.

“During the past night, 69 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed by the air defense systems on duty,” the statement read.

According to the statement, 28 drones were shot down over Kursk Region, 27 over Bryansk Region, five over Belgorod Region, three over Tula Region, two each over Oryol and Kaluga Regions, and one drone each over Astrakhan and Voronezh Regions.
