Zionist forces continue to violate ceasefire across Gaza

GAZA, Feb. 09 (YPA) -Israeli occupation forces continue their violations of the ceasefire agreement on its 122nd day across various areas of the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian sources reported that Israeli warplanes launched intense airstrikes on eastern Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, causing casualties and significant damage to homes and civilian property.

The strikes coincided with low-altitude flight operations by Israeli aircraft over the governorate.

Israeli military vehicles advanced east of the neighborhood and demolished several homes, forcing many families to flee.

Israeli artillery shelled the eastern areas of Gaza City, while occupation vehicles opened fire east of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Israeli warships also opened fire in the sea off the coast of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Over the past 24 hours, Israeli violations resulted in the killing of six civilians and the injury of others in different parts of the Gaza Strip.

Since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, the total number of fatalities has reached 576, in addition to 1,543 injuries, while the total number of bodies recovered stands at 717.
