Turkey arrests two for spying for “Israeli Mossad”

ANKARA, Feb. 06 (YPA) – Turkish intelligence has arrested two individuals in Istanbul on charges of spying for the Israeli occupation.

The suspects, identified as marble merchant Mehmet Budak Derya and his partner Wasil Karimoglu, are accused of gathering intelligence on Palestinian figures residing in Turkey.

Investigations revealed that Derya recruited Karimoglu, a Turkish citizen of Palestinian origin, under direct Mossad instructions.

Furthermore, reports indicate the pair was linked to a 2016 attempt to sell drone components to Tunisian engineer Mohamed Zouari—prior to his assassination—using materials provided by Israeli intelligence.
