UAE firms withdraw from Saudi defense show

RIYADH, Feb. 06 (YPA) – Several UAE firms have withdrawn from a major defense exhibition in Saudi Arabia, Reuters reported, citing sources .

The World Defense Show is scheduled to be held in Riyadh from 8-12 February. It remains unclear whether all UAE companies participating in the national pavilion have pulled out.

The development comes amid ongoing strains in relations between the UAE and Saudi Arabia, which have surfaced in various regional arenas, including Yemen, Sudan, and Somalia, among other conflict zones.
