“Israel” launches largest digital campaign to restore its image in America

QUDS, Feb. 05 (YPA) – A recent Haaretz report has uncovered an extensive and targeted Israeli propaganda campaign aimed at rehabilitating its deteriorating image within the United States.

The initiative, launched in response to a significant drop in support—particularly among young, liberal, and minority demographics since the war in Gaza—has involved multi-million dollar contracts with American marketing firms to shape U.S. public opinion.

Managed by the Havas Media Network, the strategy employs a multi-pronged approach: producing targeted digital content, recruiting social media influencers, and utilizing automated bots to amplify its messaging.

The overarching goal is to craft a revised narrative that counters criticism of Israeli occupation’s actions in Gaza and projects a more palatable image to the American public.

Documents seen by the newspaper indicated that the occupation contracted with the company “Klout Power X” worth about 6 million dollars to produce intensive visual content on platforms such as “TikTok”,”Instagram” and “YouTube”, aiming to reach about 50 million views per month within the United States.

This content focuses on messages aimed at young people, depicting Israel in a way that is close to the American viewer.

In parallel, the Israeli occupation has hired the company “Swift Bay Works” for a contract worth about 3 million dollars to address the decline in support for evangelical Christians in the United States, through religious narratives derived from the Bible, aimed at strengthening the traditional doctrinal link between this group and Israel.

In another context, the occupation signed a contract with Targeted Communications Global worth 1.5 million dollars to launch promotional campaigns based on influencers and marketing content, with the aim of encouraging tourism to Israeli occupation by highlighting a “normal and safe” image that goes beyond the images of war and destruction.

On the technical level, the occupation has also contracted with the company “KDY Cyber Group” for an amount of up to 2.5 million shekels to develop programs based on robots and automated accounts, with the aim of influencing social media platforms, promoting the Israeli narrative, and countering increasing criticism on digital platforms.

Haaretz describes this as the occupation’s largest digital propaganda effort targeting the American public in years, highlighting the establishment’s acute concern over a fundamental shift in U.S. opinion.

The campaign has represented a strategic pivot toward using sophisticated marketing tools to directly target specific demographic segments and present a counter-narrative to the one emerging from Gaza.
