115 Days since ceasefire: 1,520 “Israeli” violations and 556 martyrs despite agreement

GAZA, Feb. 04 (YPA) – The Government Media Office confirmed that the Israeli occupation has continued to violate the ceasefire agreement since it took effect on October 10, 2025, until Wednesday, February 4, 2026.

A total of 1,520 gross violations were recorded over 115 days, resulting in the martyrdom of 556 Palestinians and the injuring of approximately 1,500 others, in a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and the terms of the humanitarian protocol.

The statement clarified that the violations included 522 shooting incidents, 704 shelling and targeting operations, 221 demolitions of homes and buildings, and 73 incursions by Israeli occupation vehicles into residential neighborhoods.

It noted that 99% of the martyrs and injured are civilians, including a large number of children, women, and the elderly, all of whom were targeted within residential areas far from the “Yellow Line.”

Statistical Breakdown of Violations and Aid Obstruction:

  • Arrests: 50 cases recorded, all conducted from within residential neighborhoods.
  • Humanitarian Aid: Significant non-compliance; only 29,603 trucks entered out of the planned 69,000, a commitment rate of only 43%.
  • Fuel: Only 14% of the agreed-upon quantity was allowed entry.

Failure to Meet Logistical Commitments:

The Office emphasized that the occupation failed to reopen the Rafah crossing, allow the entry of shelter materials, medical equipment, and heavy machinery, repair infrastructure or operate the power plant, and respect the agreed-upon field boundaries, continuing to shrink designated areas.

Accountability and Demands:

The statement held the Israeli occupation fully responsible for the ongoing humanitarian deterioration in the Gaza Strip. It called upon the United States, mediators, sponsors of the agreement, and the international community to take urgent action to compel the occupation to fulfill its obligations, ensure the protection of civilians, and guarantee the immediate and safe flow of humanitarian aid and fuel.
