Hamas accuses Israeli occupation of “systematic harassment” at Rafah crossing

GAZA, Feb. 03 (YPA) – Hamas movement accused Israeli occupation authorities on Tuesday of practicing deliberate “harassment and extortion” against Palestinians returning to the Gaza Strip via the Rafah crossing.

The movement described these actions—which particularly target women and children—as “organized terrorism” and a form of collective punishment, urging international human rights organizations to document these violations to pursue legal action against Israeli occupation leaders.

Additionally, Hamas called on mediators and guarantors of the ceasefire agreement to intervene immediately to ensure the full and unrestricted opening of the crossing, guaranteeing the safety and freedom of movement for travelers in accordance with established agreements.
