Gaza: Death toll surpasses 71,000 amid ongoing aggression

GAZA, Feb. 03 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Monday that the cumulative death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 71,803 martyrs and 171,570 wounded.

In its daily statistical report, the ministry stated that hospitals received 3 martyrs and 15 injured over the past 24 hours. It noted that many victims remain trapped under rubble or on roads, as ambulance and civil defense teams are still unable to reach them.

The ministry further revealed that since the “ceasefire” on October 11, the toll has reached 529 martyrs and 1,462 wounded, in addition to the recovery of 717 bodies from various areas.
