Israeli occupation continues to close entrance to Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah

WEST BANK, Feb. 01 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces continue to close the main entrance to the town of Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, for the second consecutive day.

Palestinian sources stated that the occupation has kept the town’s main entrance closed since Saturday, hindering the movement of residents.

This step comes within the framework of repeated occupation measures aimed at restricting the lives of Palestinian citizens and obstructing their movement.

According to a report issued by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, the number of military checkpoints and gates in the Palestinian territories has reached 916, including 243 gates installed after October 7, 2023.
