Saudi-backed factions launch major deployment in Aden

ADEN, Jan. 25 (YPA) Saudi-backed factions initiated their most extensive deployment to date in the city of Aden on Sunday, moving into the primary stronghold of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC).

Local sources reported that the “Dera Al-Watan” forces have begun seizing control of several strategic locations across the city.

According to the reports, the new Saudi-led operational plan focuses on securing key tactical points and checkpoints at the main entrances to Aden.
