Palestinian young man injured by occupation bullets near separation barrier in Al-Quds

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Jan. 24 (YPA) – A young Palestinian man was shot and wounded by Israeli occupation forces on Saturday in Al-Ram town, north of occupied Al-Quds.

Palestinian media reported that occupation soldiers shot the young man in the leg near the separation barrier, without providing further information about his condition.

It is noteworthy that Palestinian injuries near the separation wall surrounding occupied Jerusalem and along the contact zones are occurring almost daily as Palestinian workers attempt to cross it in search of work, under strict Israeli restrictions.

According to data from the General Federation of Palestinian Workers, 44 Palestinian workers have been killed by occupation fire, and more than 34,000 have been arrested since the start of the aggression against the Gaza Strip in October 2023, while at their workplaces or while trying to reach them.

In a related context, the occupation authorities have prevented Palestinian workers from returning to their workplaces inside the occupied territories since the outbreak of the aggression, which pushes some of them to risk climbing the separation wall despite the grave dangers involved.
