Russian air defense downs 14 Ukrainian drones overnight

MOSCOW, Jan. 22 (YPA) – The Russian Air Defense Forces intercepted and destroyed 14 Ukrainian drones overnight over several regions, the country’s Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

 During the past night, from 23.00 Moscow time on January 21 to 7.00 Moscow time on January 22, 14 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty., the statement read.

It noted that four drones were destroyed over the territory of the Volgograd region, three each over the Republic of Crimea and the Rostov region, two over the Bryansk region and one each over the Belgorod Region and the Krasnodar Territory.
