Qalibaf: Failure of “U.S.-Israeli plot” has left Trump in state of despair, confusion

TEHRAN, Jan. 19 (YPA) – The Speaker of the Iranian Shura Council, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, asserted that the failure of recent American and Israeli schemes against Tehran has plunged President Donald Trump into a state of despair, triggering “contradictory and angry” reactions.

In a series of press statements, Qalibaf emphasized that the recent “sedition” was merely an extension of external aggression. He noted that the collapse of this plot proves once again that Iran remains the “most dangerous point in the world” for terrorists and traitors.

Furthermore, Qalibaf praised the wisdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, for successfully distinguishing legitimate protesters from “rioters” while remaining indifferent to Trump’s threats.

This follows recent remarks by Ayatollah Khamenei, who underscored that Washington’s ultimate goal is to “swallow Iran,” confirming that the vigilance of both the people and officials served as the primary force in extinguishing this American-led conspiracy.
