GAZA, Jan. 18 (YPA) – Seven Palestinians, including two children and a teenage girl, were injured by Israeli occupation army fire and shells across various areas of the Gaza Strip on Saturday.
These incidents mark a continuation of Israeli occupation violations of the ceasefire agreement, despite the announced transition into its second phase.
The casualties were geographically distributed as follows:
In Khan Yunis (South), a man and a woman were injured in the Rahma and Al-Khair camps, a child in the Rafah Garage area, and a 30-year-old man by shrapnel from a quadcopter drone east of the city.
In Northern Gaza, a child sustained a head wound from gunfire in the Al-Atatra area, and a 15-year-old girl was wounded inside Halawa School.
In Central Gaza, a citizen was shot by Israeli forces east of the Al-Bureij camp.
According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, the total toll since the ceasefire began on October 11 has reached 464 fatalities and 1,275 wounded, resulting from persistent Israeli occupation breaches.
