Sanaa places Riyadh before fateful choices: Blunt advice, open-ended warning of consequences

SANAA, Jan. 18 (YPA) – Sanaa has issued a series of stern political and military messages to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, describing the current phase as “fateful.”

Recent statements included blunt advice to the Saudi side on the necessity of decoupling humanitarian issues from political and military files, coupled with an “open-ended warning” that could lead to a military escalation broader than any previous rounds of conflict.

Sanaa emphasized that the state of “no war, no peace” and the continued stalling in implementing understandings—specifically regarding the payment of civil service salaries and the full lifting of the blockade on ports and airports—cannot endure.

Sources indicated that Sanaa’s armed forces are in a state of full readiness to impose new field equations should the Saudi regime continue to yield to American pressure.

The messages concluded by placing Riyadh before two stark choices: either move forward on the path of comprehensive peace and fulfill the rights of the Yemeni people, or bear the dire consequences that could reach deep into the Kingdom’s economic heart and vital facilities.

The warnings reaffirmed that “the window for peace will not remain open forever.”
