Meteorology expects very cold temperatures during next 24 hours

SANAA, Jan. 15 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning predicted very cold and cold weather in the mountainous highlands, interior plateaus, and deserts during the next 24 hours.

According to the weather bulletin, very cold weather is expected in the governorates of Bayda, Dhamar, Sana’a, Amran, Saada, northern Ibb, western Al-Jawf, and southern Ma’rib, with the possibility of frost in limited areas.

The center expected very cold temperatures in the highlands of Dhalea, Lahj, Abyan, and the plateaus of Shabwa and Hadramout, while the weather may be cold to relatively cold in Hajjah, Mahweet, Raymah, and Taiz provinces.

The center warned citizens in the mountainous highlands, deserts, and interior plateaus of the cold and very cold weather, especially the elderly, children, the sick, and those working at night and in the early morning, calling on farmers to take the necessary measures to protect their crops.
