GAZA, Jan. 13 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” issued a press statement this Tuesday, denouncing the incursion of the extremist “Israeli occupation” National Security Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, into the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The movement described the move as a “provocative step” added to a series of systematic violations against Islamic sanctities. It emphasized that this incursion represents a “blatant assault on the sanctity of Al-Aqsa” and an attempt to impose new “Judaization realities” in the Holy City.
Hamas stressed that Al-Aqsa Mosque remains a “red line” and that it will not allow these attacks—which reflect a “religious war” aimed at undermining the status quo—to continue.
Concluding its statement, Hamas called upon the Palestinian masses in Jerusalem (Quds), the Interior (1948 territories), and the West Bank to “intensify their Ribat” (steadfast presence) at Al-Aqsa Mosque. It further urged the international community and the Arab and Islamic nations to take immediate action to halt this “ongoing aggression” against Palestinian land and sanctities.
