Iran dismantles “Mossad-linked” terror cells in Zahedan

TEHRAN, Jan. 13 (YPA) – The Iranian Ministry of Intelligence announced on Tuesday in an official statement that security forces have successfully apprehended several terror cells affiliated with the Israeli occupation, which had infiltrated the country through the eastern borders.

The ministry clarified that these elements underwent intensive training in sabotage and terrorism, plotting to target and bomb vital service centers across the country. Investigations revealed that the cells were operating out of seven separate safehouses within the city of Zahedan.

The security operation resulted in the seizure of American-made weaponry and specialized explosive equipment. Authorities noted that these activities are part of ongoing attempts to exploit domestic unrest to serve the agendas of the “Mossad” and other foreign entities.

The statement reaffirmed Tehran’s commitment to pursuing separatist groups and saboteurs seeking to undermine Iranian national security under the guise of protests.
