US conducts surveillance over southern Yemen

ADEN, Jan. 12 (YPA) – Websites specializing in tracking air traffic have revealed that a US reconnaissance drone conducted a surveillance mission off the coast of Aden, coinciding with aircraft flying over Yemen’s Dhalea Governorate.

According to the websites, a US MQ-4C Triton drone took off from Al Dhafra Air Base in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and carried out intensive patrols off Yemen’s southern coast, specifically near Aden, at an altitude of 45,875 feet and a speed of 360 km/h.

At the same time, a US reconnaissance aircraft, a P-3 Orion from the US Fifth Fleet, was seen flying over Al-Dhalea Governorate in southern Yemen, according to activists .
