RAMALLAH, Jan. 12 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces demolished a house in the town of Shuqba, west of Ramallah, on Monday morning.
Palestinian sources reported that the occupation forces, accompanied by a military bulldozer, stormed the town and began demolishing the one-story, 120-square-meter house of Hussam Qadah, located south of the village.
The house was home to six people. The demolition was carried out under the pretext of building without a permit.
A report by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority stated that Israeli occupation authorities carried out 538 demolitions over the past year, destroying 1,400 structures, including 304 inhabited homes, 74 uninhabited houses, 270 livelihoods, and 490 agricultural facilities. The demolitions were concentrated in Hebron, Jerusalem, Ramallah, Tubas, and Nablus.
