Update 2: Casualties from Saudi-led airstrikes on Hodeidah rise to 80

HODEIDAH, Aug. 2 (YPA) –  The casualties initial toll from the US-backed Saudi-led coalition airstrikes on the gate of Thawrah public hospital and a fish popular market of Hodeidah province on Thursday rose to 80 civilians, a medics official told Yemen Press Agency.

The strikes killed over 42 civilians and over 40 injured, the official added.

More than twenty-eight of dead civilians were moved to Thawra hospital and 14 to another hospitals in the province.

The Office of Health launched an urgent appeal calling on the citizens to head urgently to the hospitals in Hodeida city to donate blood, to help a great number of injured caused by the airstrikes.
