Saudi Arabia launches military operation against UAE-backed forces in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, Dec. 30 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition has announced the start of a military operation in Yemen’s Hadramout Governorate following the seizure of the port of Al-Mukalla by the UAE-backed Transitional Council (STC).

In a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the coalition called on all civilians to immediately evacuate the port of Mukalla until further notice.

The coalition added that the evacuation is intended to protect civilians due to the implementation of a military operation.
