Saayed al-Houthi: ‘Any Israeli presence in Somaliland is military target for our armed forces’
SANAA, Dec. 29 (YPA) – Sayyed Abdul Malik Al-Houthi, affirmed that any Israeli presence in the territory of Somaliland is a military target of the Yemeni armed forces, as an aggression against Somalia and Yemen.
”We will not accept that part of Somalia will become a foothold of the Israeli enemy at the expense of the independence and sovereignty of Somalia, the security of the Somali people, the security of the region and the Red Sea, ” the Supreme leader of Ansarullah movement said in a statement on Sunday evening.
He stressed that the Israeli enemy’s announcement of its recognition of Somaliland as a separate entity was a hostile stance targeting Somalia and its African surroundings, and targeting Yemen, the Red Sea and the countries on both banks of the Red Sea.
” But the Israeli enemy will seek to expand the circle of recognition and cooperation with it from other parties and countries, and seeks to make Somaliland a foothold for hostile activities against Somalia, African countries, Yemen and Arab countries, threatening the security of the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden,” he added.
