Israeli occupation launches arrest campaign in West Bank

WEST BANK, Dec. 22 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces carried out a large-scale arrest campaign at dawn on Monday across the West Bank. Most of the arrest took please in Silat ad-Dhahr, south of Jenin city, in the occupied West Bank

Palestinian sources said the number of detainees in Silat al-Dhahr has risen to 15 young men so far, as Israeli forces continue their incursion and deploy heavily throughout the town’s neighborhoods.

Four brothers are reported to be among those detained in Silat al-Dhahr.

The Israeli occupation army has sent additional military reinforcements to the town, while house raids and arrest operations remain ongoing.

Elsewhere, Israeli occupation forces detained a young man during a raid on the town of Arraba, south of Jenin.

In Tulkarm, Palestinian sources reported that Israeli  occupation forces detained three Palestinian residents after raiding their homes in the city’s eastern neighborhood.
