Displaced civilians injured in Gaza as wall collapses on tent due to heavy rains

GAZA, Dec. 15 (YPA) – A number of displaced Palestinian civilians were injured in the Gaza Strip on Monday when a wall collapsed onto one of their tents in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, southwest of Gaza City.

“WAFA” news agency reported that the wall’s collapse was a result of the intensity of high winds and heavy rainfall hitting the Strip. The injured were transferred to medical centers for treatment.

The heavy rains accompanying the low-pressure system also led to the collapse of a home previously damaged by the Israeli aggression in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood.

Furthermore, the downpour caused the flooding and destruction of numerous displaced persons’ tents and other damaged homes across various areas of the Strip.
