Iran unveils “Sayyad 4” electronic warfare system

TEHRAN, Dec. 11 (YPA) – The Iranian army unveiled the “Sayyad 4” electronic warfare system for forests, designed and built by Iranian female scientists, during a ceremony attended by Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh.
 
The Iranian news agency Mehr reported, on Thursday, that the system was unveiled in the presence of Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, the Iranian Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics.
 
Due to security considerations, a scaled-down model of this system is being used for media purposes. It was designed and built by Iranian female scientists in the field of defense industries, according to Mehr Agency.
 
“Sayyad 4” is an electronic warfare system capable of disrupting enemy GPS or navigation systems, the agency added.
