DAMASCUS, Dec. 03 (YPA) – Syrian media reported on Wednesday evening that Israeli forces had entered several villages in the southern Quneitra countryside in southwestern Syria.
The SANA news agency stated that an Israeli enemy patrol advanced from the Adnaniyah point towards villages in the southern Quneitra countryside and positioned itself in the village of Umm Adham at the crossroads leading to the villages of Mushairifah and Sa’aydah and to the village of Ruwayhinah, setting up a temporary checkpoint at the location.
It reported that this coincided with the incursion of three Israeli military vehicles towards the village of Ruwayhinah, south of Quneitra.
On Tuesday, Israeli forces entered the village of Samdaniyah Sharqiyah in the northern Quneitra countryside.
The Israeli enemy continues its aggressive policies and violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement by incursions into southern Syria, attacking Syrians through raids, arbitrary arrests, forced displacement, destruction of property, and bulldozing of agricultural lands.
Syria continues to demand the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation from Syrian territory, asserting that all measures taken by Israel in southern Syria are null and void and have no legal effect under international law.
Damascus also called on the international community to assume its responsibilities, deter the occupation’s practices, and compel it to withdraw completely from southern Syria and return to the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.
