Civil defense teams put out fire Sanaa

SANAA, Dec. 03 (YPA) – The Civil Defense teams successfully put out a fire that broke out in a house owned by citizen Mohammed Alaw Al-Baydani in the Artael – Al-Lakma neighborhood of Sanaa Al-Jadeedah Directorate.

Fire Department Branch Director in the province, Colonel Muhammad Ali Jafar, stated that upon receiving the report of the incident, firefighting and rescue teams promptly dispatched to the scene.

He added that they succeeded in containing the fire and preventing it from spreading to neighboring buildings.

Colonel Jafar noted that the fire resulted in the complete destruction of the home’s furniture.

The preliminary investigations show that the fire was an arson attack, and authorities are still investigating to identify the perpetrator.

He called for the necessity of commitment to provide means of security and safety in public and private facilities, to reduce fire accidents.
