SLAMABAD, Nov. 25 (YPA) – At least 10 people, including women and children, were killed, and others were injured early this Tuesday morning in airstrikes launched by Pakistani fighter jets on areas inside Afghanistan, according to Afghan government sources.
Sources specified that one of the strikes targeted the Khost province’s Khost-Karbeez district, while another strike injured four people in the Paktia province in the southeast of the country.
Afghan government officials accused Islamabad of “violating the ceasefire agreement” recently reached during talks in Istanbul.
These strikes come hours after the killing of three Pakistani security personnel in an attack carried out by gunmen on a border police headquarters near Afghanistan in Peshawar. No group has yet claimed responsibility for that attack.
