MAHRA, Nov. 22 (YPA) – The head of the “Southern Revolutionary Movement Council” in Mahra Governorate, Mohsen Shajool, warned on Saturday against the exploitation of “Salafist” groups to implement foreign agendas targeting the governorate and its resources.
During his meeting with dignitaries and sheikhs from the Saihout district, Shajool affirmed that these extremist and renegade groups, referring to the “Dera Al-Watan” factions formed by Saudi forces, seek to demolish social peace, stressing that they will not succeed against the steadfastness of Mahra’s people.
Shajool also reiterated his warning about the danger of these groups infiltrating official, security, educational institutions, and mosques, noting that they operate under the guise of charitable and humanitarian masks that are “exposed and obvious.”
He called on the people of Mahra to be vigilant and confront what he described as the “Saudi, Emirati, American, British, and Zionist ambitions” aimed at occupation, pointing to previous attempts to flood Mahra with drugs to justify control over it.
