Iranian judiciary calls for urgent international action against Trump

TEHRAN, Nov. 17 (YPA) – Head of Iran’s judiciary, Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, asserted that US President Donald Trump’s admission of involvement in the Israeli attack on Iran constituted clear evidence of a crime, calling on international justice bodies to take immediate action.

In a news statement, Ejei said that Trump’s role was not limited to support and assistance; he participated directly and immediately in the attack, adding that the Trump’s admission was one of the most important pieces of evidence to prove the crime and aggression.

He announced that Trump’s admission of direct involvement in the war on Iran, known as the “12-Day War,” will be subject to legal action by the country’s Attorney General.

Previously, the Iranian judiciary chief explained that Trump had officially announced his responsibility for the assassination of Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani in Iraq in early 2020, considering these repeated statements to reveal clear involvement in war crimes and crimes against humanity.
