Hamas :Dire living conditions in Gaza pose real danger to citizens

GAZA, Nov. 17 (YPA) – Hamas Movement clarified Monday that the tragic conditions the Palestinian people enduring for two years after the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, including the lack of medical, food, and shelter supplies, have posed a real threat to the lives of defenseless civilians, especially children and women.

In a news statement, Hamas held the fascist Zionist occupation fully responsible for its continued violations of the ceasefire agreement, its escalation of aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, the ongoing closure of land crossings, and the obstruction of the smooth delivery of humanitarian aid.

The statement called on the guarantor states of the ceasefire agreement to exert pressure on the occupation to implement the humanitarian protocol, open the crossings, especially the Rafah crossing, to allow the entry of relief and medical aid, tents, and emergency shelter supplies, and permit the evacuation of patients and the free movement of people in both directions.

It reiterated that the continued international silence in the face of the ongoing crimes of the fascist occupation in the Gaza Strip has threatened to deepen the humanitarian tragedy for more than two million Palestinians besieged and deprived of the most basic necessities of life as a result of this brutal war of extermination.

The movement’s statement appealed to the masses of Arab and Islamic nation and all freedom-loving people worldwide to continue their popular movements and public demonstrations to pressure the occupation and its supporters to halt attacks on civilians, end the siege, and allow the entry of aid and urgent shelter supplies into the Strip.
