Khalil Al-Hayya: “Al-Aqsa Flood” is response to Palestinian cause marginalization

GAZA, Nov. 08 (YPA) – Khalil Al-Hayya, Head of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Gaza Strip, affirmed on Saturday that the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation, launched on October 7, 2023, was a “response to attempts to marginalize the Palestinian cause” and build a new Middle East at the expense of Palestinian rights.

In a speech delivered during his participation in the Arab National Conference, Al-Hayya stated that “October 7th erased the false narrative and redrew the true narrative that awakened the human conscience” globally.

Al-Hayya stressed that “peace and stability in the region will not be achieved without the establishment of a Palestinian state and the return of refugees,” asserting that “the occupation is destined to vanish,” and Gaza will remain a symbol of steadfastness until complete liberation is achieved.

Al-Hayya also reviewed the humanitarian suffering in the Strip, calling for concerted efforts to reconstruct Gaza after the cessation of aggression and enable its recovery, emphasizing that “October 7th proved that the unity of the Nation is a force for the liberation of Palestine.”
